For 'Day case', only a (1) meal is served.

Note 3: All rooms are inclusive of air conditioning unless otherwise indicated.

A normal dialysis treatment will cost RM525.00 per treatment on your first visit and RM270.00 on every continuous treatment.
- Rates stated above are excluding Consultant's fee, prescribed medicines and other services that may occur during treatments.

LABOUR AND DELIVERY ROOMS
We take pride in offering an environment that meet your individual needs to ensure your comfort during your stay by creating a setting that maximises support and minimises stress, fully equipped for the birthing method as preferred.
Items required for hospitalization:
For Baby : Baby Clothes, mittens, booties, blankets, hand towels, bath towels, diapers
For Mothers : Slippers, maternity bra, sarong
Deposit needed upon admission:
For Normal Delivery: RM1, 500.00
For Caesarean: RM3, 500.00
Other than emergency cases, appointments for admission are made during your visit to the Consultant's Clinic.
Admissions Suite (Lobby Level)
You are encouraged to do pre-admission at least 48 hours prior to your admission, at the Admissions Suite (Lobby Level). During this process, you will be given the personal attention of the Admissions Clerk on what to bring/not to bring, on your bed reservation, estimated total hospitalization cost, deposit requirements and any pertinent matter that will save time on your actual admission.
You are required to be admitted at least a day before your surgery in order that the Anaesthetist may assess you. On the day of admission, please proceed to the Admissions Suite (Lobby Level) for your registration and payment of deposit. If you need any laboratory tests or investigative procedures to be done, this can sometimes be carried out before you go to the ward. After you have registered, our staff will escort you to your room.
All admissions require an initial deposit.
If the initial deposit becomes depleted before discharge, a further top-up deposit may be required.
What To Bring?
Identity Card of Passport or Birth Certificate
A Guarantor is required for all personal admissions. He/she must be financially secured between 21-55 years old. Identity Card or Passport needed.
Employer's Letter of Guarantee for employees whose company has credit facility with KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital.
- Comfortable clothing (pyjamas will be provided by the hospital)
- Non-slip Slippers
- Toiletries (basic toiletries are also provided)
- Bath and facial towels
- Some reading materials
Valuables and Excessive Cash
If you have such items on your admission, DO NOT KEEP them in your room. Please hand them over to a relative to bring them home or to the ward staff for safe-keeping.
If You Are Having Surgery
You are required to sign a Consent Form before the operation. If blood transfusion is needed in the course of the operation, arrangements will have to be made with the Laboratory Department, to have it replaced by suitable donors. If you are a member of a managed care organization, you are also required to sign a Consent form authorizing the Hospital to release medical information to the relevant organization for settlement of your inpatient bill.
NO VISITORS ARE ALLOWED IN THE WARDS AFTER 10:00 PM
For health reasons, visiting outside these hours is not encouraged especially in ICU/CCU.
Children aged 12 years and below must always be under the supervision of an adult while in the hospital.
Visitors may bring food items for patients such as fruits, biscuits, sweets and drinks with the consent of the staff nurses and being suitable with the patient’s dietary balance.
Visiting Patients in ICCU/CU
Visiting is confined to immediate relatives and limited to not more than 2 persons at one time.
Children aged 12 years and below are not allowed to visit patients in ICU/CCU.
Visitors are not permitted to bring food for patients in these areas.
While we understand your social needs, we also understand the need for sufficient rest to ensure a speedy recovery. Visitors are advised to plan their visits during visiting hours only.
Under Malaysian Laws, you are not permitted to smoke within the Hospital premises.
MyPharmacare Health Shoppe
A Retail Pharmacy (Health & Beauty Centre) which opens from 8.00am – 6.00pm offers a variety of items ~ BabyCare, BeautyCare, DieteticCare, MyCare, RehabCare, CanCare and HealthCare. It is located at Lobby Level – Inpatient Block.
A taxi stand is conveniently located outside the lobby main entrance (Inpatient Block).
Ample car park space is available at a reasonable rate of RM 1.00 per hour.
